: >>THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING A FEW OF THE SCHOOLS, AND HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH A NEW JERSEY CERT. SINCE NY IS A LONG DRIVE, AND HAVE FOUND A FEW MASSAGE THERAPY SCHOOLS WHICH TEACH REFLEXOLOGY IN THEIR CURRICULUM. IT'S TOUGH DECIDING ON A SCHOOL, AND NOT KNOWING WHICH ONES HAVE THE BETTER INSTRUCTORS AND CLASSES, ETC. SO FAR, HEALING HANDS INSTITUTE IN WESTWOOD SEEMS DECENT.
: AGAIN, THANKS FOR RESPONDING.

Make sure they give comprehensive Reflexology training in their curriculum and not just a few hours or a day. Many massage schools offer only a few hours of Reflexology training with their hundreds of hours of massage training. One noteable exception was that I received some of my training at a massage school. They had a separate Reflexology program.

I know from exerience since I had been called in to teach reflexology to a group of massage school students. The reflexology training they had received to that point was almost non-existent. I frequently have massage therapists in my classes and they confirm how little reflexology training they received during their program.
