I am a 38 year old female and have recently found out that my grandmother and my cousin have this lyphadema. No one seems to undersad me when I ask about this. I have swelling in the left leg all of the time. The had diagnosed it at venous stasis. What other symptoms did you have other then swelling. My cousin says that her you cannot see he knees due to the lyphadema in her thighs. Tell me more if you know about this. I have heard also that it is a form of elephantitis
